I really need to stick to this whole blogging thing.
I have been blogging for around two years and although I don't blog so often, I haven't given up.
that's a sign at least...
What I love most is getting emails from readers and someone asked me this question:
I then thought, 'hmm... I could make something out of this..'
So I've decided to make a new segment in my blog, A SLICE OF ADVICE
ask me a question below or through my email and I try my best to give you a list of clothing to on what to wear something with or what to wear to a certain event.
I love varsity jackets, great casual sporty wear which I love because they are so cool and make you feel like your going to an American school in the movies.
they would look great with trainers and a casual strap dress
This is a great outfit to wear on the go or to meet up with friends or a casual date to the cinema or someone's house. You will feel comfortable yet feel stylish at the same time.
thanks for asking,
Toyin

Happy new year!/ new year's playlist
This is my first blog post of the whole year! I told myself that I wouldn't be making any new year's resolutions but I couldn't help myself.
1. BLOG MORE- I think it goes without saying that I will learn more about blogging and gain more follower's to read my content and tips if I just blog a bit more. Also to blog about things that I care about as well as you may find that quite entertaining
2. RENOVATE MY BLOG- I am not expert at this at all but what really attracts people to their blog is if the design of the blog is better.
3. READ MORE- I spend so much time on the computer and the other time studying that I never get a chance to read a good book, hopefully with a year jam packed with exams this one will actually be possible.
4. DRAW AND DESIGN MORE- I'm already on to this one!
What are your resolutions for this year?
Playlist for the new year:
1. home- Gabrielle Aplin
2. When I get famous- Jamie Cullum
3. Grow Old with me- Tom Odell
4. Sing to the moon- Laura Mvula
5. counting star- One republic
6. golden chains- ALB
leave your links below so I can check out your blog.xx

Three must have coats
There is not mistaking that it is winter. As much as I hate the weather especially the horrible English storms, I love layering, boots, scarfs and hats.
Especially in this weather, and my ability to easily get a cold, it's almost impossible for me to go out without a coat. so here's my advice on picking a jacket for every occasion.
1. Topshop- Navy Blue bomber by boutique (£160.00)
I love bomber jackets as they are so versatile, you can wear them as a coat for those windy days or underneath a thicker jacket for those snowy days. You can dress it up with a nice shirt or down with a t-shirt.
2. Zara- short combination anorak (£69.99)
I am not a fan or puffa jackets but I really this one as I can actually imagine wearing out with a nice pair of skinny jeans and stilettos and not a pair of sweat pants people seem to always match them with. I also think the price it quite reasonable and the jacket will give you maximum warmness this winter.
3. H&M - Wide coat (£69.99)
This is quite an out there jacket but I absolutely love it! It's eye catching and will really get people starring out you amongst the dreary weather and colours. I recommend wearing this with something quite smart and less casual as I can't quite picture this being someone's everyday jacket and it probably doesn't give as much warmth as the other two jackets
Sorry for being away from the blogging scene for such a long time but I having really needed to find the motivation. Please keep reading and have a lovely new year!

What I am wearing- cross necklace
I brought this necklace a while back on a family holiday to Turkey- I think I was 5 and I've still got it. The other day I saw it poking in the corner of my bedroom and have decided to start wearing again. I didn't realise how much I loved it and it's a great accessory to wear with a graphic tee or a polo neck seeing as it's winter time.
I 'm not much of a jewellery fan, but I really like this simple piece.

Anti- Bullying week 2013
It's been a pretty hectic week for me revising for my mocks and a Spanish speaking (which I thought went terribly) Anyway, for those of you who have been reading for a while we know that it is important to me that bullying is reduced in schools.
Please be sure to raise awareness of bullying everywhere maybe by just a small blog post like this or something lie a video
If you are looking for more information on the various types of bullying or some advice please check out this link http://www.bullying.co.uk/general-advice/?gclid=CKvQoJeb_roCFW_JtAodTgsAWA

Trend spot
I think it's amazing when we managed to incorporate things that would not normally be fashionable, into something fashionable. For example, things like overalls, bowler bags and now holdall bags?
For those of you who don't know what a holdall bag is here is a quit definition/ trend knowledge:
In American English, a gym bag is a large bag made of cloth or leather typically with a rectangular base and a zippered opening at the top. Two handles enable the bag to be carried, and a (usually removable) strap lets the user support the bag on the shoulders.
In British English, a holdall (or occasionally hold-all) may be a similar bag but may often have wheels and possibly a telescopic handle. The term covers a wide variety of types of bag.
How do we managed to do this?
I really love the idea of a holdall bag because I find them quite versatile, cute and almost business like. I would recommend to wear it with a fur jacket, some cut out boots and some skinny trousers.
Style tip: I would recommend purchasing a croc print hold all bag because in y opinion they are the most stylish and stand out against a simple outfit.

Life update
Hi guys,
Whenever I don't blog on a regular basis, I feel guilty but I immediately want to get back in the swing of blogging because it's one of the things I enjoy so much. It's a place where I can keep all the things that I love where no one else from school etc have to look at it, yet I still get to share it with random strangers.
I have been super busy getting reading for some mock exams but I guess you could say that I'm far from ready. I still want to make some time for blogging and making my blog grow so will try and fit both a tumblr Thursday in and a trend spot because I want to open my blog up f
or more fashion advice as well as wishlists.
If you have any suggestions please comment below xx
